At Journey Hopper, transparency and honesty are the foundation of our services. This Fare Disclosure Policy explains how airfares are displayed, what they include, and how additional charges or changes may apply.

1. Fare display and accuracy

• Airfares displayed are based on live data received from airline partners and suppliers.
• Fares are dynamic and may change depending on seat availability, airline pricing updates, seasonal offers, and currency fluctuations.
• The fare you see at the time of search may differ from the final fare at booking confirmation.
• Final prices are confirmed only after payment and booking completion.

2. Fare components

Each airfare typically includes the following components:

• Base Fare: The standard cost of the ticket set by the airline.
• Taxes & Surcharges: Applicable government taxes, airport fees, and carrier-imposed surcharges.
• Service Fees: An administrative or booking service fee charged by Journey Hopper to process your reservation.

Example: Total fare = Base Fare + Taxes & Surcharges + Service Fees (if applicable).

3. Additional charges

Certain airlines may impose optional charges not included in the displayed fare:

• Baggage fees (checked or excess luggage)
• Seat selection or upgrade fees
• In-flight meals or additional services
• Payment method or card processing charges

These charges are determined and collected by the airline directly.

4. Currency & payment

• All fares are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• Payments in other currencies are subject to conversion rates determined by your card issuer.
• Journey Hopper does not control foreign transaction fees or exchange rate differences.

5. Fare changes & availability

• Airfares are subject to change until booking is confirmed and payment is processed.
• If the fare changes between search and confirmation, you will be notified before payment is finalized.
• Once payment is complete and your ticket is issued, the fare becomes final per airline fare rules.

6. Special or discounted fares

Promotional or discounted fares may have additional restrictions:

• Non-refundable or non-changeable conditions
• Limited validity or blackout dates
• Mandatory travel insurance or baggage restrictions

7. Errors & corrections

While we strive for accuracy, technical or human errors may occasionally result in incorrect fare displays. In such cases, Journey Hopper reserves the right to cancel or reprice the booking and inform the customer before processing payment or issuing the ticket.

8. Final fare confirmation

Your total payable fare is disclosed before you complete your booking. By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted all fare details, including taxes, fees, and restrictions.
